It was a beautiful day in Wisconsin, mostly sunny, little breezy, temps in the low 70s.
A new Peony opened today, this one is called Sweetie. It is a short stemmed peony, with traditional layers of petals. Because it is short stemmed, the bloom is easily supported.
Even though this is a first year plant, there are 2 more buds yet to open.
Very pretty.
My morning routing includes reading a few news emails that I get daily.
Today, Hops joined me for a long nap while I read. I finally had to wake her up so I could move on with the day.
It is a nice way to start the day.
