Population

In Wisconsin, the signs with a town's name at the city limits, states the population from the last census.
In Colorado, as my friends from Out West know, the signs state the elevation.

My little village has neither sign, although I know that my village sits at 1148 ft above sea level, and the population is imaginary.

My Christmas village started as just the Brewery, Maltings, and Grist Mill about 9 years ago.
And now...8 more buildings and a bunch of trees & several villagers.   Lucky my space is limited so the population is capped.
🎄
There is still room for a cat to perch amongst the villagers though. Tis the season.

The stockings are hung.

The tree is trimmed.

Life is good.

Well done!

I got sidetracked and forgot to add some more game photos from the State Championship.  I better do it today because on Tuesday I start watching basketball!

The day was all about Cardinals.
Newman Catholic are the Fighting Cardinals, Luck is the Cardinals, and the school where we played, Chippewa Falls, also the Cardinals.

Here are some shots from the day, Gage is #6.

Here come the Cardinals!

It didn't take long before Levi score the first of his 5 touchdowns.  We all breathed a little easier to be in the lead so quickly.

Which one would it be?

The team and the fans were starting to feel it now.

 Happy coaches, happy team.

Lots of photos were taken, fans were not allowed on the field, but it is more about the emotion than the capture of every face on the team.

The welcome home caravan was impressive.
All the emergency vehicles that could be rounded up met the bus just out of town.
With sirens and horns blowing, the bus was escorted down mainstreet up Park Avenue to the school.

At the school, fans gathered to welcome home their champions!

The trophy is presented to the fans by the coaches who helped this team bring it home.

A few words were said, and there was applause and much smiling!

Again, the Seniors hold the hardware high.

A great ending to a fun Championship season.

Well done men!
