Puzzling

I spent all day January 2nd, working on crossword puzzles that I had collected out of the newspaper and watching a marathon running of Downton Abby.

I usually do the 2 puzzles each day when the paper comes, but I had gotten behind by about a week, so I managed to catch up the 12 daily puzzles.  My brain felt fried after that, but I had a weird satisfaction from doing the work.

I watched many of the episodes of Downton Abby.  I had watched it each week when it aired the first time, so while I didn't see every episode over the New Year's holiday, I did know the story line and enjoyed the sessions I watched.  

My amaryllis is in bloom, it is a little disappointing but pretty in its own way.
