Bravo

About a week ago, I was at one of the basketball games at the Luck High School and during the halftime of both the Varsity Girls game & the Varsity Boys game, a dance troupe came out and performed. Their dance was aimed at making people aware of domestic violence and how common it is in our world.  It was a somber routine with the students using makeup to demonstrate bruising and other injury. Before the music started, and in complete silence, each dance student crossed the gym while displayng a placard stating a statistic about domestic violence. The numbers are mind-boggling and upsetting. I was impressed by the bravery of this group of young people to take on such a serious topic and I was proud of the crowd for giving them 100% of their attention during the performance; you could nearly hear a pin drop.

If you see something, say something.
