I was pretty lazy around here on Tuesday, finally getting in the shower in mid afternoon. When I came back out of the bedroom and sat back down in the living room, my attention went to something big and winged out in the front yard.
Much to my delight, it was a barred owl.
He sat long enough I took some photos through the living room window and then I went outside and took some more shots. Here are the best of what I got.
I've never seen an owl in the wild before, other than on a telephone line far away, and the snowys who were a far.
This was a moment in my life I'm very grateful to have had today.
I'm lucky to have been in the living room at the right moment.
Yay me!
