Summer sure is fun for kids and grown ups. I enjoy watching the kids play ball and its fun to see kids enjoying their time off from school. Last night, I headed to Baldwin for supper and Dana & Erin's and then we went to watch Jackson play ball.
Coach pitch ball is good for the young kids, they rotate positions, everyone bats every inning, if you get out you leave the base but there are no limit to the outs in an inning. In my opinion, these rules really promote youth play and fun. Kids get plenty of competitive sports play anymore, I enjoy seeing this level where the rules take that out of the equation.

It was fun game, all levels of ability and skill on the teams at this age and from what I saw, the coaches encouraged and coached all of the kids equally.
Jake was good at keeping busy while Jackson played ball.

Dana and Erin and I enjoyed a good visit on the deck enjoying a few cold beverages
and then I stayed overnight on their couch.
