Family Camp at West Denmark in Luck, WI

The West Denmark Lutheran Church has held a 'family camp' for about 39 years or so.  It is a gathering of folks who enjoy 3 days of crafts, singing, speakers on a variety of topics as well as coffee & good food.  Dad and Ev have spent all 3 days at many of the activities, I dropped in for 2 afternoons.  On Wednesday, a ceremony to thank the Ravenholt family for a renovation of the Dane School was a highlight.
A parade of folks walked from the Hall to the Dane School singing The Happy Wanderer.

An old lazy susan unit that Dad made for our house on County Trunk N.  It was salvaged during the deconstruction of that house and re-purposed here in the apartment under the Dane School.

This Lazy Susan has held up very well.

Some of the cabinets were also salvaged from the old house.
The cabinets were built by my Dad's first cousin, Vagner Petersen, and hung in our house.

It was good to see old friends and make some new acquaintances.
The renovation of this building is something that Dad has hoped for and to see it be a reality is quite a treat.
