SCF Boys Varsity

2020 02 17 SCF at Luck Boys Varsity
SCF and Luck were meeting for the last time for this season.
They were deadlocked in conference standings, so this was an important game for both teams.
The SCF Boys Varsity came out for warm ups wearing this year's Jude shirt.

These shirts are to help raise awareness for Rare Disease Day and it was pretty darn cool of the St. Croix Falls team to wear the shirts
AND THEN
they each ran over to Jude and gave him high fives or knucks.

How sweet is that!
Watching & waiting

Knucks

The St. Croix Falls Saints basketball team wore the shirts as they warmed up for the game.

Rare Disease Day takes place on the last day of February each year. The main objective of Rare Disease Day is to raise awareness amongst the general public and decision-makers about rare diseases and their impact on patients' lives.

Building awareness of rare diseases is so important because 1 in 20 people will live with a rare disease at some point in their life. Despite this, there is no cure for the majority of rare diseases and many go undiagnosed. Rare Disease Day improves knowledge amongst the general public of rare diseases while encouraging researchers and decision makers to address the needs of those living with rare diseases.
