Last night I was invited, along with Grandma Lois, Great Aunt Lois & Aunt Jessica, to join Gage and his parents, Kyle & Heather, at the dinner & installation for National Honor Society.
I was not in NHS, so did not know much about it. I was impressed to learn that membership is not limited to just the best students in your class, not just in terms of academics, but also in terms of leadership, service, and character.
There is a strong focus on service with each member required to plan and complete a community service project.
It was a nice evening and I am so proud of all that Gage has accomplished.
