What fun today (Friday), Suzi & Dave Bright stopped in Rice Lake, on their way from Chicago to Denver. We had a really fun visit, they got to meet the cats although it took some serious coaxing to get Hops out from under the bed. Yummy fish fry at Adventures Restaurant and a short tour of downtown and Lakeshore Drive.
If you don't think Rice Lake is on the way from Chicago to Denver, I guess you have not looked at the map lately.
