Bad Choices

I am always puzzled by robins who choose to nest right over the door of a home or business. This mama is perched just over the door into the canoe museum, every time the door opens she flies down and scolds the intruder. I wouldn't think she is still sitting on eggs, but she is determined to be in that nest. It was knocked down once this Spring, but she rebuilt. Crazy birds.

On a positive note, I have not seen the headbanger chickadee since I got back from Out West. Whoopee!
