Phyllis

I met Phyllis Severson when I was a freshman in college at Eau Claire.
Glenn was my only family member in Eau Claire, and he and Kathy Severson were newlyweds.
Glenn was stuck entertaining his little sister from time to time.
Charlie and Phyllis were nice enough to invite me to their home on several occasions.
Through the years, Phyllis was always a friendly face at family gatherings.
Happy to see me and always wanted to know how I was.
We celebrate her life on Monday, as she passed away last week.
Her many 95 years were lived well.
She loved holding the new babies and always had a word of greeting for the adults as well.
My last visit with Phyllis was in Rice Lake at a 5 generation photo shoot, that Glenn & Kathy organized, with the Loyas clan.
While Phyllis was mostly blinded by macular degeneration,
on the day of this photo shoot,
she told me that I looked nice.
Rest In Peace Phyllis, you will be missed.
