Yesterday, I recovered my ironing table / platform with new silver high-heat fabric.
Today, I got busy sewing on some table runners. I got distracted during sewing today, so had some quiet time spent unsewing too. It's all part of the process.
Our family heard some very sad news today. My Uncle Nel Botten, who lived in Seattle has died. He was married to my Mom's sister Jeanne for 70 years. He had become ill only recently, diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in his esophagus. He had turned 91 in May. A life well lived.
