119 days of self isolation

Do you need an update on Barley?
She seems fine, a small puke today, but nothing major.  No evidence of bodies in the cat box.  Maybe she is going to come through her murderous feast without a scratch.

It was a good rain overnight, almost an inch.  We were in need of the moisture and a little cooler temperatures.

There are many juvenile Orioles at the feeders today, flapping their wings, begging the busy father to feed them jelly.  Sometimes, they are perched on the jelly bowl, begging for dad to feed them.  Silly innate behaviors.

A few Cardinals are around today too.  It is not their usual behavior to show up at mid day.

Many more Day Lily blooms today.
POW!

There must be about 200 buds on this bush of yellow.
I am guessing this bush will be the last to bloom the last day lily of the summer.

The pink lily is a nice bit of diversity.

I do love the Bee Balm.
I was almost eaten alive by mosquitoes stepping into the ditch close enough for this snapshot.

The High Bush Cranberry is producing a lot of berries.
I don't see the birds eat these like I had hoped,  but the red berries are lovely in the fall.

So, the Covid counts are way up again in Wisconsin.
The buzz about what to do about school in the fall is the hot topic with folks lining up on both sides with good points.  I am so grateful to not have a role in deciding what to do for our kids and teachers.

Be Safe.
