A slippery start to 2015

On New Year's Day, I stopped at Big Moon Lake to see what the kids were up to.  All the little ones were sliding down the hill to the lake and having a ton of fun.  Even the little ones didn't mind the fast ride down and the tough climb back up to the top.
A wave from Jackson as a group slide assembled
Some folks were fishing or feeding the fire.
Bryce was fearless on the saucer

You have to hold your tongue just right.

A quick wave
Milli and Wynni joining the sliding fun
It was great weather for sliding and fishing and having a fire, inside the house there were many snacks for all.  This was the first weekend of the new 'garage bedroom' that Glenn and Kathy added as a kid's bunkhouse, and it was real hit.

Unfortunately, not showing in these photos was a nasty stomach flu bug, that by the end of this night, had infected most of the kids and me.
So, while this day was nice the following 24 hours, not so much.
Maybe all the bad stuff is over with for 2015?

Happy New Year.

(BTW, I do regret not sliding down the hill that day.)
