Yesterday, Thursday, I went to visit Dad & Ev for lunch in the barrens.
We had planted some petunias over there this spring and the white ones are just beautiful.

On the way over to the cabin, I saw a turkey in the ditch and a black bear loped across the road about 50 feet in front of the car. On the way home I saw about 10 dear, half of those deer were fawn sized.
There was a hatch of bugs recently too. Driving home last night was like driving through a cloud of mosquitoes. Not safe to be outside at dusk now, the winged blood suckers will get you!
