The other day I was sitting where I could see these 3 woodpeckers, 2 downy & 1 hairy. They perched on this branch for about 15 minutes. They were not pecking, just sitting.
I wonder if they were in 'time out'.
It was curious to see them just perched there, in a row,
like they were waiting in line, and like I said,
for at least 15 minutes.
Mother Nature keeps us wondering and in awe.
