239 days of Safer At Home, 3 days since Election Day

Several states are still 'too close to call'.  Many ballots are being counted across our country.  We are all anxious for a 'winner',
but every vote must be counted, it is at the core of our values and our democracy.

So, we wait.

Meanwhile, business at the feeder has slowed wayyyy down.
Today, there were a few Blue Jays, always pretty in the sun.
And my all time favorite little bird, the Tufted Titmouse.  For the first time ever, there were 3 or 4 of these little beauties hanging around.

What a treat.

The Covid19 is bad, and getting worse.  Cherry Creek Schools in Colorado is going virtual, that is where my sister works driving school bus.  Locally many of the schools are switching over to virtual.  It is a struggle for all...teachers, parents and the kids.  With Thanksgiving coming soon, there is much concern about family gatherings becoming super spreader events.

IMO we need a national testing plan, a national mask mandate, and likely a short and complete shutdown of restaurants and bars until we can get to a more manageable level of infection.
