Football Jamboree

8 man football doesn't have a formal tournament in the state of Wisconsin, but rather a couple of Jamborees where teams with similar records play.

The Luck Cardinals were undefeated in their regular season and then won their Jamboree Game vs Prairie Farm in Cameron, WI (while I was away at Quilt Camp).

Last Saturday Luck hosted Newman Catholic for the next level of Jamboree at a field in Schofield, Wisconsin.  Glenn & Kathy picked me up in Chippewa Falls and we rode together to the game.
It was an exciting game on a breezy, chilly October night.
The team waits for their introduction.
Jack Johansen is #8

Parents and team await a special entrance by the Luck Cardinals.

The Cardinals battled back from a deficit but 2 point conversions were not easy to make.
In the end, the Cardinals lost 34 to 32.

A fun game to watch and an exciting ending for the Seniors on the football team.
