The Year of the Dragon

I was born in the year of the dragon.

It means nothing except that it is usually on the placemat in a Chinese restaurant,  and I was always glad I was not born in the year of the rat.

And, I thought that this was an interesting illustration of a dragon.

Dragon

Chinese zodiac sign birth years: 2024, 2012, 2000, 1988, 1976, 1964, 1952, 1940, 1928, 1916, 1904

Like their fiery mascot, folks from dragon years want to be in control and tend to exhibit a confident, decisive spirit. They have ample amounts of energy, which rubs off on—and inspires—those around them. Because they don't like being told what to do, dragon signs stand out in more individually-focused careers, like finance and architecture.
