I've had a break from sports photography and haven't seen many birds lately either, but those cats are always hanging around, so here are a couple of snaps of them.
On New Year's Eve, Barley was settled into her favorite bed, Barley takes the left bed and Hops uses the right. But for some reason, Hops decided she wanted to snuggle...an idea that Barley tolerated but only for a little while.
It wasn't long before Barley moved out and then Hops moved over to her normal spot.
Those cats....
The normal snooze spots for Barley and Hops, I'm quite sure this cute gesture was an accident, but it is pretty cute, eh?

I think there are about 8 cat beds scattered around the house. These 2 are the most used. Second best are the 2 heated beds, also in the living room, and the one that is hidden behind the recliner is Hops favorite place for a bath and a quiet nap.
If you aren't going to spoil a pet, why have a pet?
