It is a special treat when a male Northern Cardinal drops by for a snack when the sun is out. Normally, they feed at dusk & dawn when there is almost no light left.
Always a fan favorite, even against the fall colors, they are one of the prettiest birds in my neighborhood.
Counting my lucky stars to have these handsome guys hanging around.
