It's been awhile

Sometimes I get out of the mood to write much, so I guess that's why I've taken a blogging break.

But this weekend was very up-lifting.  

Niece Lora came on Saturday afternoon.  We had a nice visit and then a lovely dinner at Lehman's Supper Club.  It was Lora's first visit to Lehman's and she loved it.  Our food was perfect, we had great service, & even a Happy Birthday song by the staff for Lora.

Sunday we ran over to Luck for an auction of friend Janice's collection.  

It was entertaining, fun to see the Olson sisters and we both got a few of Janice's items to add to our own collections.

It's a rainy day today, but here are a few snaps of our leaves.

The leaves are pretty spectacular right now, the drive over was one Ooh and Aah after another.

We stopped at the Barron A&W on our way home for a frosty treat.

We had such a good visit and plan to make this an annual event for us to get together here in Rice Lake or at Lora's house in Alma since it is Youth Deer Hunt weekend, which means Anders will always have plans with Kris.
