Nephew Andrew has served his country since high school when he signed up for National Guard.
He served 2 tours in Iraq and countless hours of training.
His sacrifice is huge and his family also serves as they live their lives around his 'guard' schedule.
This week, Andy and many of his unit deployed to Florida to help with Hurricane Irma recovery.
We don't know how long he will be gone, but we hope that this is a short assignment so he can be back home again soon.

I am proud of Andrew and know that Dad must be smiling down too.
