On Monday we had a storm blow through just before I was headed over to Luck.
I happened on this wet eagle just down from my house.
I read that eagles beaks turn yellow and heads turn white at about 5 years of age,
so I'm guessing this guy is about just that.
He didn't seem to be too pleased to be out in the rain.

On the way home from Luck, the sky was clear except for the smoke from distant fires, and the moon was a light leading me home.
This view of Bass Lake reminded me of the old Hamm's Beer commercials from the '60s.
'from the land of sky blue waters'
Now I'm living it.
