Tuesday morning....Ivan has been transferred to Children's Hospital in St. Paul by the NICU team via ambulance.
He has developed respiratory problems.
We are all hoping for the best case that would mean a couple of days in Children's with medications and monitoring.
More to come....keep a positive thought for our new little man.

Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers. Ivan is a feisty little guy and he's making progress. We can hold him now,but he still
can't go to the breast. This morning they said he needs at least a week in the
NICU before we can go home.

Ivan is off of oxygen, which is huge progress! We are now able to practice breastfeeding. He has been
keeping his nurse busy by taking out his own feeding tube and the leads on his
chest and face. If he nurses well today we can keep the feeding tube out for
good. Thank you for all of your messages and prayers!.
