On Thursday, 4/1, I posted some photos of a jet that had flown low over my house a few times. I was imagining that there was a landing gear issue or something, but it turns out, he was just showing off! The Rice Lake Chronicle cleared up the mystery on the front page yesterday.
My story was more glamorous, but this is pretty big news for a small airport like Rice Lake.

The pilots I used to work with would talk about taking weekend hops home to see family/friends to get flight time and take advantage of the "free" flights. I always wondered how it was handled in places that don't usually see fighter jets. Very cool to have this in Rice Lake. I miss seeing it!
