On Friday, I picked my first homegrown tomatoes.
This year I planted the Celebrity variety tomatoes in large pots and the cherry tomatoes are also growing in huge pots.

Wednesday evening, I met Pete and Carol and my piano teacher, Sherry & her husband Jim, at Lehman's for Music on the Grass.
The group was called "Home Grown Tomatoes".
It rained hard for about an hour before the music started, but then it was a nice night to sit outside, drink a beer and hear some great music.

Summer is good.
