A perfect night for football

I found out this morning that great nephews Jack & Gage had a football game this afternoon in Luck, it worked out that I could get there in time, so I made the trip.

It is also Ruby's 5th birthday, so first here is a photograph of Ruby as a 'fresh baby'.
She was born the day after I arrived in Rice Lake, so I got to see her on day 1.

Tonight, Grandma Lois gave Ruby a funny little birthday present, a little dog that boogies to music.

Okay, now a few photos from the game.
High hike, to Jack with hands up.

And one more hand off
Okay, just one more hand off.

After the game, Jens wanted to put on Gage's gear
He grabbed the helmet and carried it over to his Mom who helped him put it on

This to me looked like someone let all the air out of the players.

It was a fun afternoon watching the Cardinals win!
