Part of the fun of Spring is seeing the birds return after their winter in the south.
A new visitor to my yard this year is the yellow rumped warbler, or 'butter butt'. It is nice to hear these little singers and they are quite pretty as well.

Back from down South, the male Grosbeak is always fun to see. He made a brief visit to the feeder but I am hoping he will stick around.

Another new visitor is the White Breasted Sparrow. A rather large flock of these little beauties have been working on cleaning up all the birdseed that their messier bird friends have dropped.

~~~
Today is 6 weeks since my slip/fall/break the arm trick in the driveway.
2 more weeks in this short cast and then hopefully I will be healed.
It's been a hassle but also a good reminder that many folks live their whole lives with worse handicaps, so a little perspective.
