Silly Great Nieces

Ryan brought his girls, Elliana & Milena to the basketball game on Tuesday night.
The are really good during the games, they entertain each other, although I'm not sure that they see much of the game.
They posed for me tonight.

Bleacher Butt

I have one of those cute little seats that you can use on the bleachers to be more comfortable, it really doesn't help when the cute little seat is home in the garage, while my butt is sitting on the bleachers.  Next time...
I drove over to Luck on Friday to spend the day doing a few computer checks for the relies and then headed to the high school basketball games.  The varsity & junior varsity girls beat Unity but the boys varsity lost a hard fought & disappointing game.
I spent the night at Gus & Lois's and then headed out to little boys basketball games Saturday morning.  My great nephew Gage had a 4th grade game in Webster to start, so I rode with Heather & Ruby and Gage to the game.

Then, back to Luck we went for the 5th grade tournament.
Anders was at his Grandma Lolo's visiting, so we had him along to the school and Megan too.

Anders is getting to be a big boyl
Megan was patiently waiting and looked oh so serious.

The boys are lucky to have such good coaches.

Cousin Noah's team won the tournament for the older kids.

Lots of bleacher butt, but lots of fun

Milli is 3

My great niece Milli turned 3 yesterday, she asked for spaghetti, corn and Jello for her birthday dinner.
She's quite a character, that Milli.

Milli's Mom, Kaija, relayed this little story to me.

Yesterday, I asked the girls to help put books back on the bookshelf, and this was the conversation I heard from the other room...

Charli (Milli's sister who is 5): Not those books, Milli! Those are my school books!
Milli: Well, I have to go to college!
Charli: Milli, college is when you are seven...(said in a 'duh' sort of way)
Milli: Well, I don't know how to get there. I can't even drive myself there!!

Well, it's always something.

Time to get back to the old blog stone

I managed to pick up a bad cold over Christmas, so I've been pretty much just hanging at home for a couple of weeks now.  Not only did I not feel too great, but I didn't really want to share my cold with anyone else.  But, hanging around home can make for not every exciting blogs.  Today I finally feel better and was also entertained by some nice visitors to the bird feeders.

We had a little snow during the day, is there anything colder looking than a winter sun?

Although the blue jays are around often, they don't often pose for photographs.
This lady was back again this afternoon.
She likes the suet, what a big beak you have my dear.
And what big claws you have
and what a bright cone head you have.

Time to check in on those cats

I have not posted any pictures lately of the cats who run this house.
This morning as I was reading the Sunday paper, Hops managed to get my legs off the foot rest for the recliner so she could assume her spot.
We are in a constant state of negotiation around here, and most of the time I give in.

I'll post an update on Barley later, she's busy napping right now.
